BBPMSOH is an abreviation of Balai Besar Pengujian Mutu dan Sertifikasi Obat Hewan or in English it is called as NVDAL is an abreviation of National Veterinary Drug Assay Laboratory.Located in Bogor District, West Java Province, Republic of Indonesia in a site of 5.5 hectares.
The construction of the Laboratory buildings was under the ATA-297 (Agriculture Technical Assistance 297) project, a technical cooperation project between the government of Indonesia through the Directorate General of Livestock Services, Department of Agriculture and the Government of Japan through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The construction was started in March, 1984 and was completed in early January, 1985 and handed over to the Government of Indonesia in January 26, 1985. The opening ceremony of the Laboratory was held in August 2nd, 1985 and officially inaugurated by Ir. Achmad Affandi, the Indonesian Minister of Agriculture.
National Veterinary Drug Assay Laboratory (NVDAL) or Balai Besar Pengujian Mutu dan Sertifikasi Obat Hewan (BBPMSOH) is one of a Technical Institutions under the Directorate General of Livestock Services, Ministry of Agriculture. The Laboratory is plays an important role in Quality Control of Veterinary Drugs and is directly responsible to the Directorate General of Livestock Services.
